Handy size
By: Mick Motton on 19 December 2022Handy little size to fit in your bag for outdoor use. I think both corners of the tube quite sharp , would be good if they were curved edge instead of the point

Optilube 42g
By: Malcolm Proctor on 17 November 2022I have avoided purchasing this size Optilube as the 113g tube is more economical and every dollar saved counts! However recent international travel experience with the large tube was tricky getting through security and I had to plead my case with security at each airport – not fun. I now will always have the smaller tubes on hand as they are a more convenient size for travel as well as being under the security 100g threshold. Another factor for me recently was having a UTI. Looking at every possibility of contamination, using the smaller tube should be less likely to be a problem than the longer period of use the large tube allows. A dollar saved is not always the best solution!

I don't need to go to the shops to purchase lubricating jelly anymore, which is great. I'm in Darwin and have never had any issues with postage, whether standard or air.

By: Jan on 9 April 2020I use OptiLube 3 to 4 times per day for bladder intermittent catheterisation. I've found the jelly to be most effective without causing any irritation.

42g Optilube Lubricating Gelly
By: John Mitchell on 19 March 2020I use the larger size for home use and love it for self catheterising (see review). This smaller size is great for travel and away from home use. The flip lid and hole size means I can simply dip the catheter in without touching in comparison to sachets. Reduces the risk of infection.
