How firm are these catheters?
- Most men will use our Standard catheters, these are quite a firm catheter, and if you're changing brands from a firm catheter, then this one is for you.
- Our soft catheters are really quite soft and will only suit about 15% of men. Soft catheters are only available in sizes FG12, FG14 and FG16.

Male intermittent self catheterisation
By: Robin Urquhart on 21 November 2024I have been using these catheters with a small amount from the 113g tube of lubricant morning and evening for a little over six months now. Easy, painless and effective, the amount of retained urine in the bladder is gradually decreasing as intended by my specialist urologist. The service provided by Paralogic is outstanding being both inexpensive and delivery to mid coast NSW surprisingly fast. Happy to continue with treatment until I reach satisfactory goal which is not that far off.

Gamechanger
By: Paul Hackney on 1 April 2024I was having problems with the catheter brand I had been using since 2007. After 3 visits to Emergency in 12 months I decided it was time to look elsewhere and came across Paralogic online. I gave them a call and they sent me a sample pack of their FG12 catheters which arrived within 24 hours and solved my problems. Being a paraplegic is difficult enough, without having problems with a product you need to work everytime you use it. I have nothing but good things to say about this company and the level of customer service they provide, long may it continue. I also find the cost of the catheters, 0.70 each, very economical indeed.

Simple and comfortable to use

By: Keith Paxton on 1 February 2023The only thing I can think of, as the catheter attempts to enter the bladder , the resistance can cause the catheter to bend slightly. This requires a firmer pressure to enter the bladder. This does not happen every time, some catheters are slightly “stiffer” than others. I can not identify the difference until product is in use. I changed from my previous supplier to paralogic as their product exhibited the same problem about 90% Of the time. I experience it with your product maybe 5% of the time. Yours is much better. Thank you.
